From the Bailey Family

From the Bottom
of Our Hearts,
Thank You.

To every person who believed in this campaign — your support has meant more than words can express.

On election night, the people of McMinn County made their choice, and we respect that decision completely. While the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for, I want to be clear about something: this campaign was never just about winning an election. It was about showing up, serving this community, and giving every voter in McMinn County a clear, honest choice. We did that — and I am proud of every day of it.

To every person who placed a yard sign in their yard, wore a campaign shirt, donated their hard-earned money, knocked on a door, shared a post, or simply took the time to vote — thank you. You invested in something you believed in, and that kind of generosity and civic courage does not go unnoticed. My family and I are genuinely humbled by the trust you placed in us throughout this journey.

"Running for office is an act of faith — faith in your neighbors, your community, and the idea that one person's effort can make things better. You gave me that faith, and I will carry it with me for the rest of my life."

To the volunteers who gave their time freely and without hesitation — you are the backbone of every good campaign and every good community. To our friends and neighbors who offered their encouragement, their prayers, and their presence — we felt every bit of it. And to our family, who stood beside us through every long day of this effort — there are no words adequate enough.

McMinn County is a remarkable place filled with remarkable people. Whatever form my service to this community takes going forward, I remain as committed to it as I have ever been. This is home. That never changes.

From the Bailey family to yours — thank you, McMinn County. It has been the honor of a lifetime.

Doug Bailey

McMinn County, Tennessee

With gratitude — Doug, and the entire Bailey family.
