On election night, the people of McMinn County made their choice, and we respect that decision completely. While the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for, I want to be clear about something: this campaign was never just about winning an election. It was about showing up, serving this community, and giving every voter in McMinn County a clear, honest choice. We did that — and I am proud of every day of it.

To every person who placed a yard sign in their yard, wore a campaign shirt, donated their hard-earned money, knocked on a door, shared a post, or simply took the time to vote — thank you. You invested in something you believed in, and that kind of generosity and civic courage does not go unnoticed. My family and I are genuinely humbled by the trust you placed in us throughout this journey.

To the volunteers who gave their time freely and without hesitation — you are the backbone of every good campaign and every good community. To our friends and neighbors who offered their encouragement, their prayers, and their presence — we felt every bit of it. And to our family, who stood beside us through every long day of this effort — there are no words adequate enough.

McMinn County is a remarkable place filled with remarkable people. Whatever form my service to this community takes going forward, I remain as committed to it as I have ever been. This is home. That never changes.
